Yes. If you founded already or found during the program, your startup will have to be registered in Berlin. If you have founded your company somewhere else already, you would need to move it to Berlin. Please keep in mind, that if your business is already registered, it has not yet commenced any economic activity.

Yes.

Solo founders can’t join the program. Our program aims to promote and support teamwork. We look for great, balanced teams with complementary skills.

Participating founders receiving the stipend need to reside in Berlin and are expected to dedicate their full attention to the startup. Of course it’s is possible to have additional co-founders/team members working remotely for your startup. They won’t be receiving a grant though.

Our program is designed as a full-time participation, your focus should therefore always be on the program. However, you don’t have to be on-site all the time – of course, you may also work remotely.
Pro Tip: Don’t underestimate the benefits of networking and peer learning that arise from being physically present.

We offer you free desks in our coworking space in the heart of Berlin Schöneberg. All masterclasses, workshops, coaching sessions and networking events will take place on-site. Whether online or on-site, your attendance at the meetings is mandatory.

The first three months are packed with mandatory masterclass sessions and bootcamps, taking place on-site every week and providing you intense and boiled-down knowledge on how to get your business started. After that, pitch training and individual coaching sessions with our Mentors and Entrepreneurs in Residence will intensify.

Our ultimate goal is to support our startups as good as possible and build a strong community. So, of course our Alumni founders are a vital part of the Reaktor network! Every startup joining and finishing our program becomes part of our family and we’re always happy to help out, even if the program is over.

No. The REAKTOR.BERLIN program can’t be combined with any other startup grants such as the „Gründungszuschuss“ or benefits from the Employment Agency (Arbeitsagentur).

Yes. You are allowed to apply a second time. Please keep in mind, that if your business is already registered, it has not yet commenced any economic activity.

We provide free desks only for the co-founders who are part of the program.
We do not cover the costs for any additional work space needs for interns or new team members. However you are welcome to discuss your needs with us or the management team of the coworking space.
